Job duties are: |
|
| |
Install, administer and monitor tasks related to the support of IBM Websphere Application Server (WAS) version 6.1 or greater in UNIX & Windows environment; Experience working on Linux, AIX Solaris and Windows Operating Systems; Provide 24/7 support to production servers when on-call; Troubleshoot problems and analyze performance statistics related to web architecture and applications in conjunction with development team, networking team and vendor; Troubleshoot and identify root cause of critical issues; Install and tune web servers such as SunOne 6.1, and Apache; Knowledge of SSL (Secure Socket Layer) fundamentals; Analyze heap and Java dumps using the dump analyzer tools. |

Master’s degree in Computer Science and 1 year of experience in job duties OR 1 year of experience in related occupation of Software Engineer with experience in Websphere Application Server Network Deployment, Apache and IBM Websphere MQ. Position requires candidate to hold Certification in IBM Websphere Application Server Network Deployment V6.1 Core Administration. |
